Interested in working with a personal trainer?

Get Started Welcome Session: Offered to new full-time (year-round) members at no additional cost, this session is designed to get our members started on their path to a higher level of fitness. One of our certified personal trainers will discuss with you your exercise history, any conditions that limit your movement, and your fitness related goals, making recommendations for a customized program for you that may include classes, and/or working out on our cardio/weight equipment . Following the session, you will have a documented workout with which to begin. FREE to new full-time members.

Personal Trainer Consultation: So you’ve decided to give personal training a try. This is a great way to get to know our personal trainers. During this 30-minute session, the trainer of your choice will discuss with you his/her understanding of the information you’ve shared through a health questionnaire (given to you and received back from you prior to the consultation), and make some basic recommendations to you. This is not a training session, but is meant to give you the opportunity to discuss your goals and to reach an understanding of how personal training with this particular trainer can help you achieve your goals.   There is no charge for this session, but you are limited to one session with any one trainer.

Cardio/Weight Room Orientation: During this session, a certified personal trainer will touch on warm-up concepts, and go through the proper use of up to 17 weight machines on the strength circuit and any of the 10 cardiovascular options. Depending on how many machines are desired, this could be a fast moving training session. $35.

Fitness Evaluation: The fitness evaluation is a great way to measure your progress and to either determine your fitness goals, or learn how far you’ve come. You will be guided through a series of movements which will determine where you are on the spectrum of fitness as related to flexibility, strength, endurance and more. Following the evaluation, you will be given an achievement report as well as basic recommendations of how to make improvements. $35
