Robina Winkler is a movement enthusiast and dedicated fitness instructor. She began her career as a fitness professional almost a decade ago when she began teaching vigorous styles of yoga, such as Ashtanga Yoga and Vinyasa Flow. From there she became a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in Myofascial Release and Structural Integration. She stumbled upon personal training in 2016 when she met her first trainer. She immediately fell in love with the structure and guidance. Although Robina had been active since childhood through sports and continued on with running through adulthood, she had never had a guide to help her reach her personal goals. Through training she explored what it was like to search for optimal health and fitness. The possibilities became endless as she continued to workout. Through training she became confident and empowered. This inspired her to become a Certified Personal Trainer. She hopes to instill this sense of accomplishment, confidence, and empowerment onto others, and help people live healthy, active, pain free lives.
Robina Winkler is currently a Psychology student with a special focus in Behavioral Neuroscience and Health Sciences. She aims to study the effects of exercise on mood and how we can help mental health through breathing, movement, training, and rest.
